Ticket sale announcement



Exciting news!!

We have finalised our next event that will take place on the 9th and 10th April 2016.

I can confirm that there will be 35 places available on each class, each day with the world renowned Andy Skinner and Kate Crane!

The cost of the classes will be £70.00 per class, we have also negotiated a very good rate with the hotel on the accommodation of £50.00 bed and breakfast single occupancy and £60.00 bed and breakfast double occupancy per night. You can find extensive details at here on this website.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

SPECIAL SAVE THE DATE ANNOUNCEMENT
We are very happy to announce that the Ministry of Mixology Retreat will be back on the 9th and 10th April 2016.
Andy Skinner will be partnered with another super talented artist who we will reveal in due course.
The event will again be held in Coventry at the Holiday Inn Academy Hotel.

First of all we have listed below a few things that we would like you to bring with you.
 
A selection of paint brushes including a stiff bristle flat brush and stipple brush for stencilling.
One brush for using with Gel Medium.
Baby Wipes
Kitchen Towel
Craft Scissors
Craft Knife
Cutting matt
Palette Knife
Pencil
Ruler
Heat Tool
Paper pallets or non stick teflon matt
Water Pot for cleaning brushes.
6 book pages with text on.
Good quality PVA glue
Cut and Dry Foam or a make up sponge
A black fine line drawing pen (No. 0.7 is perfect)
A see through ruler would be better than wood or metal

We will have the following available but only in small quantities in the workshop so if you happen to have your own please bring them along so there will be less sharing:
For Andy’s class you will be using Ranger Archival ink pads Black and Sepia.
For Michelle’s class you will be using Ranger Archival ink pads Black, Aquamarine and Tree Branch and also Pumice Stone distress ink pad.

So you can plan your arrival time a schedule of events is below.  Please note that we are aiming for a fairly relaxed feel to the retreat so times are subject to a little deviation 
 
Friday:
For those delegates staying on the Friday evening. Meet fellow delegates and relax in the bar and restaurant.
Saturday:
8.00: Shop will be open. This will include a small open art area for anyone wishing to try out the products available.
Registrations for workshops will commence, please register by 9.45am.
All day refreshments will be available, relax in the foyer or browse in the shop.
10.00: Workshops commence. There will be short periods (5-10 minutes) before and after lunch where you will be able to leave the workshop to get light refreshments or browse the shop.
12.30-13.30: Break for lunch within the academy area. Feel free to browse the shop or use the open art area.
13.30: Demo areas will be set up for anyone arriving on Saturday afternoon for the Sunday workshops. The shop and open art area will also be open throughout. Craig from CHA UK will be available throughout the day and evening to discuss the fabulous work that CHA UK do for the Craft industry.
16.00: Workshops finish, break until 5pm. In the meantime other demo areas and open art room will be set up and there will be preparations for the Folk-it Workshop.
1700: Folk-It workshop for 1 hour, demo's to continue and open art room will be open for use until we close the shop.
1800: 2 hour break for evening meals etc. The shop and open art room will remain open during this time. Some demo's will continue throughout.
21.30/22.00: The shop and open art room will close around this time.
Sunday:
8.00: Shop will be open. This will include a small open art area for anyone wishing to try out the products available.
